Pick the docket
Choose a docket. The session runs every case in it, so the docket you pick sets the length.
Hear the case
The charge and the facts land — names, citation and outcome held back. Argue it out with the bench.
Cast your verdict
Everyone taps Guilty or Not Guilty and locks in. No changing your mind once it’s in.
Bang the gavel
The court finds the defendant — the real ruling, the reasoning, and the case citation, revealed at last.
Pour accordingly

Adam’s Law
Before the first case, the Chief Justice picks the house rules. Traditional is the default — a wrong call drinks. In Adam’s Law it flips: read the court right and you drink; get it wrong and walk away dry. Shields still come from three right calls in a row and soak up your next drink.
Contempt
Miss two in a row and you’re held in contempt of court — no penalty but the shame of it.
The Chief Justice’s powers
Recess
Between cases or mid-vote, the Chief Justice can call a recess. Every phone shows the bar tab while the bench stretches its legs; verdicts already cast are kept. Back to the bench resumes exactly where court left off.
Adjourn
Had enough? The Chief Justice can adjourn court early — tap twice to confirm — and go straight to the awards, scored on the cases played so far.
