The facts
A man was arrested for a robbery and killing. At the station he was read his rights. Later he said, "I want an attorney before making a deal." Questioning stopped. The next morning two detectives came to the jail. He said he did not want to talk to anyone. A guard told him he had to. He was read his rights again, and he confessed. The accused says he had already asked for a lawyer, so the confession cannot be used.
