Charge: Battery causing serious bodily injury, and simple assaultCourt: California Court of Appeal, Second DistrictState: CaliforniaDocket: House Deck
The facts
At three in the morning a man entered another man's garage home, announcing he had come to kill him. The occupant was up in a loft. The intruder beat on the rafters, yelled for him to come down, threatened to burn him out, and set fire to his clothes. The occupant shot the intruder in the back with an arrow. The intruder then beat the occupant badly, breaking his jaw, tearing his lips and knocking out six to ten teeth. The intruder says that once the arrow struck him, he was only defending himself.
You have the facts the court had. Guilty or not guilty? Call it in the game with your friends, then see what the court actually decided. Wrong call, you drink.
