The facts
Two men entered a lake fishing tournament with a top prize of about $28,760. At the weigh-in their five walleye came in more than sixteen pounds above the event record. The director thought the fish felt lighter than the scale said, so he cut one open. Inside were ten lead weights, about forty ounces in all, and extra fillets pushed down the throat.
