The facts
A young black man was jogging through a residential neighborhood. A father and son who suspected him of recent break-ins grabbed guns and chased him in a pickup truck. A neighbor joined the chase in his own truck. They used the trucks to block the runner's path on the public streets. When he came up against the son's truck, the son shot him with a shotgun and he died. The three men say they were only trying to stop a man they suspected of burglaries in the area.
