The facts
A group of friends went to a coastal town for a weekend of fishing. They spent part of the evening at a bar and then went back to the house where they were staying. Just before ten at night an argument broke out between the Defendant and one of the other men. He shot that man once in the upper body. The man died in hospital. The Defendant was arrested two days later. He says he fired in self-defense.
