The facts
At dusk, forty-six miles out in the Gulf, a crewman on a commercial fishing boat turned on the captain and on another crewman. He stabbed both of them several times with a fillet knife. He then forced the two of them over the side into the water. They were in the sea until the Coast Guard reached them with a cutter, a helicopter and a small boat, and both were taken to hospital alive.
