The facts
An enlisted airman assigned to a signals intelligence agency began talking to a reporter while he was still serving. After leaving the service he took a cleared job with a defence contractor at a government mapping and imagery agency. Prosecutors said he printed thirty-six classified documents from his top secret computer and passed at least seventeen of them to the reporter. The news outlet published that material, eleven of the documents being marked top secret or secret.
