The facts
A man owed the Defendant money. The Defendant invited him out on a late-night lobster fishing trip and they left a harbor around midnight on a boat belonging to a friend. Out on the water the man was shot. He went into the sea alive and drowned there. The boat came back without him. His body was recovered the next day, several miles up the coast, with gunshot and blunt force injuries.
